Kelly Ripa's Advice For Lindsay Lohan
As most of you already know, Kelly Ripa's sister was very close to being killed by a drunken driver. During a show on "Live With Regis and Kelly", co-host Ripa said that she would like Lohan to feel "the physical agony" one has to live with after going through an experience as such. Kelly added that she would really like for Lindsay to have a chat with Ripa's sister. The suggestion by Ripa was obviously that Lindsay Lohan doesn't take driving and drinking seriously (two DUI arrests during a three months period seems to support her suggestion). Kelly Ripa is not mocking Lohan and takes the situation very seriously unlike other TV hosts. Kelly Ripa added that she feels sorry about Lindsay's situation and she cares for all of these young girls that are making the headlines nowadays.
On July 25, 2007, Lindsay Lohan's SUV got pulled over by the police and Lindsay failed the field sobriety test. The authorities have arrested Lohan for felony drugs possession and driving under the influence after finding cocaine in her pockets. Lindsay declared that it didn't belong to her. This incident wasn't the first for Lindsay Lohan aged 21.
Kelly Ripa's sister Linda, was eight months pregnant when she had the accident. Linda broke her sternum, her back, her pelvis, her bones of foot and ankle and her nose. By a miracle, the baby survived but the emotional and physical effects still haunt Linda and her family.
